She was born Christina Haack in Anaheim, California on the 9th of July, 1983. Her first job after leaving school was working in the industry of real estate. She met Tarek Al Moussa while working in the world of real estate. They ran a profitable business up until 2008 in which real estate developers, house flippers, and many others broke. As a result of the financial crisis, Tarek and Christina El Moussa nearly lost all their assets. When they moved from their home which cost them $6,000 per year, to a new apartment that cost $700, they almost lost everything. In the meantime, their business as well as the economy overall recovered. HGTV and Rise to Fame In 2011 Tarek asked a friend to assist him in creating an HGTV audition tape that showed the two of them Christina turning a house the beginning to the end. Pie Town Productions' executives were able to access the tape. The executives fell in love with Tarek, Christina and their stories. The couple signed an agreement with HGTV. Flip of Flop was launched in April of 2013. Between 2013 and 2017, the series was broadcast in 92 episodes. Christina and Tarek had to buy houses typically situated in Orange County. After spending some time on improvements then they'd flip the houses in order to earn a profit. Tarek is in charge of demolition, renovations and design. Christina keeps everything running in a timely manner.
