Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira was born on the 26th of May 1978 in Campinas Sao Paulo, Brazil. She was in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) as well as A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira became a member of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) in March 2020. She is currently an analyst and team leader for GI-TOC Multilateral Engagement. The GI TOC's research focuses on assassinations (including disappearances) as well as violence and various other forms of crime with respect to illicit economy. Additionally, she is fascinated by the effects of organized crime and human rights on the humanitarian agenda as well as law. Ana Paula has an LL.M. Cum laude (with the highest distinction) in International Law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. In addition, she has the LL.M in Public Law and an MBA in International Relations by Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula is a graduate from her school at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with the degree of magnacum laude in Legal Science and Social Sciences. Her legal experience includes four years of practice in a law firm that specialises in litigation involving public law. Her past experiences also included helping in roles with non-governmental organisations that are headquartered in Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
